At around 4:30 PM, the police received a report of the violent theft. Two men stole a bag from the victim and fled. The victim chased them and detained one suspect using a citizens arrest.
Passersby alerted the police. Officers arrived a few minutes later to take over the arrest. The suspect is a 22-year-old man from Eindhoven. The bag has not been recovered. The second suspect remains at large. The police are investigating the case.
