The report of the stabbing incident came in to the police around 04:15 on Saturday. Officers came into contact with the victim and witnesses on Noorderstationstraat. Statements indicated that there may have been a brief confrontation and that the victim was subsequently stabbed in the arm. It appears that the victim and the suspect do not know each other. The suspect may have run away towards Ebbingestraat and/or the Noorderplantsoen neighborhood.

We are investigating the stabbing incident and are looking for witnesses who may have seen or heard something about the incident on Noorderstationstraat, near the station. We are also looking for CCTV footage from the area that may show a suspicious person around 04:15. They were wearing dark clothing.
