At around 10:45 AM, the police received a report of the attempted robbery at the jeweler. Moments earlier, two individuals attempted to rob the store while threatening with firearm-like objects. Thanks to the intervention of a customer, worse was fortunately prevented, and the suspects fled on foot without any loot. An observant witness was able to inform the police that the suspects fled in the direction of Raadhuisplein.

No one was injured during the attempted robbery.

After investigation, the police arrested the adult man. Since the suspect is under restrictions, we are being cautious in our communication about this suspect.

  • Dressed entirely in dark clothing
  • Distinctive full eyebrows
  • Rode a light blue womens bicycle with black fenders. The frame of the bicycle was partly black
