The police received the report of the exploded device around 8:30 AM. The explosive caused damage to the sliding door of the main entrance. A note was also left at the main entrance with the message: Hollander 20 pieces time to pay.

Security footage shows a person dressed in dark clothing walking into view around 2:50 AM from the corner of Ockenburghstraat/Loosduinse Hoofdstraat. After the explosion, this person climbs over the fence and runs away towards the previously mentioned intersection. It is unknown in which direction this person fled.
