At around 10:40 PM on Thursday, March 20, the security guard reported via the Police Operational Center that she had been threatened with death during a patrol. Just before that, she had been approached very intimidatingly out of nowhere by the three ladies, and the intimidation escalated into a serious threat. She provided the description of the three. Officers patrolling nearby saw the three walking near the Admiraalsplein in Goes.
No ID card
When the officers stopped their car to speak to the three, they took off running. In the M.H. Trompstraat, the girls were able to be stopped. Two of them could not show an identity card, for which they will receive a fine. The three are 16, 17, and 19 years old and come from the municipalities of Middelburg and Sluis. During the conversation with an officer, they used such coarse language and treated the officer in such a way that he filed a complaint of insult.
Bag of pills thrown away
While waiting for assistance from colleagues in the area, the officers saw one of the girls throw away a small bag. That bag contained, upon counting, 650 pills. It is suspected to be ecstasy pills, but that still needs to be investigated.
The three girls have been taken to a police detention center. They spent the night there and will be questioned by detectives on Friday.
