The police arrested a suspect on Wednesday, July 9, after a stabbing incident on Melis Stokelaan in Alkmaar. It concerns a 47-year-old man from the municipality of Alkmaar. He is still in custody, and his role is under further investigation. The police would like to get in touch with witnesses.

At around 6:55 PM, the police received a report of a stabbing incident on Melis Stokelaan. Upon arrival, they found a man. The man was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

The suspect was almost immediately arrested on Melis Stokelaan.
