Rape
A young woman is cycling home on the night of October 28, 2024, after a night out in the city center of Maastricht. Since she is not very familiar with her new hometown, she uses Google Maps to find her way. At the Sint Servaasbrug, she encounters a group of four men. The group offers to take her home. They take her bike from her. Instead of taking her to her home, they take her to Hoogbrugstraat. Here, the young woman is forced to enter a building and is raped.

Since the end of October, extensive investigations have been conducted. We have shared blurred images of the suspects. This has yielded many tips and useful information, which ultimately led to the arrest of the four suspects. Since all suspects have already been identified, the images will no longer be released unblurred. We would like to thank the public for the many responses to this message.
