The police immediately launched a new investigation after the explosion, also examining a possible connection to previous incidents. Research showed that the suspect fled on foot towards Karel Doormanstraat after the detonation. Forensic investigation (FO) is conducting research at the house and neighborhood inquiries are underway to find possible witnesses and other important information.
Currently, no arrests have been made. The police urge witnesses who may have seen or heard anything on the night of January 27 to 28 in the vicinity of Deken Rhoenstraat and Karel Doormanstraat, or anyone with information about the case, to come forward.
