Fraudsters Caught Red-Handed with Cash, Expensive Goods, and Stolen Debit Cards

Gebied: Dordrecht

Two plainclothes officers encountered a suspicious card user in Dordrecht on Tuesday, November 18. The girl then got into a car as a passenger. The car was subsequently checked by uniformed officers. Stolen debit cards, 6000 euros in cash, and about 2000 euros worth of purchased electronics were found in the car. The cards were linked to a scam that occurred earlier that day in Hardinxveld-Giessendam. The driver and passenger, a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl from Lelystad, were arrested. The police are continuing their investigation.
