Around 4:30 AM, the police received reports of a possible fight in a residence within a supervised living project at Anton de Komplein. Officers found a severely injured man and immediately began providing first aid. At the same time, a search for the suspect was conducted on site. Shortly thereafter, a man was arrested in the same building. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition but died there two weeks later from his injuries.

The suspect is a 45-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter or severe assault. This suspect is currently in pre-trial detention.
