On the afternoon of Friday, July 18, a woman received a call from an unknown number. The caller claimed that suspicious transactions were detected on her account. Someone from the insurance company was supposed to visit and identify themselves with a code.
Once arrived, the person at the door gave the code, then wanted to photograph the jewelry and cash for insurance purposes. When the victim looked away briefly, the person ran off with the cash.

We shared images of the person at the door via social media and the crime program Bureau NH on September 24, 2025. As a result, a minor from Almere was recognized. The suspect was arrested and questioned on Wednesday, November 12.
