Around 5:30 PM, the police checked a car on Hudsonweg in Goes. The 28-year-old driver from Almere tested positive for cannabis use and was arrested. During a further search of the car, hemp tops were found and seized. The passenger, a 25-year-old woman also from Almere, was also arrested. The pair were taken to a police detention center for further investigation and questioning. They will be questioned on Saturday. 

The police suspected that the duo was on their way to a house on Noorderbaan in Vlissingen. After consultation with the public prosecutor, it was decided to conduct a further investigation there. Among other things, 25,000 liters of lean (hard drugs) and nearly two kilograms of hemp were seized. A car belonging to the resident was parked in front of the house. This vehicle was also towed away. The resident was arrested around 12:20 AM in a house in Middelburg. He was also taken to a police detention center for further investigation and questioning.

The police are continuing their investigation.
