At around 10:15 AM, we received a report that theft was taking place on Peizerweg. When officers arrived on the scene, it became clear that the suspect had committed theft. He then drove into a person multiple times with his car. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Arrest of the Suspect
The suspect was shortly thereafter found at De Kring. When officers attempted to speak with the suspect, he threatened them with a weapon. In response, an officer fired a warning shot. Ultimately, the suspect, a 23-year-old man from Groningen, was arrested.
