Around 03:40 AM, residents of J.M. den Uylstraat called the Operational Center in distress, as their home had just been shot at. When officers arrived on the scene, they comforted the residents and found that the house had been shot at several times. At the time of the shooting, the residents were asleep and were startled awake by the gunfire. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but it could have been different. The suspect fled after the shooting. Officers are still searching the area but have not found anyone else. Detectives and forensic investigators have gone to the scene and conducted investigations in and around the house, securing evidence.
