Amsterdam Animal Police Seize 23 (Docked) Dogs

No fewer than 23 dogs were found by the animal police on Wednesday, November 19, in an apartment on the Singel in the center of Amsterdam. Officers, together with the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), responded to a report of possible animal neglect and found the animals in ‘deplorable conditions,’ according to an officer. The police seized all the dogs, and their owner is suspected of animal neglect and forgery.
