Just after 1:00 PM, the emergency center received a report of a stabbing incident. Officers on the scene found a man with stab wounds, who was taken to the hospital. In a residence on Rijtuigweg, another person was found whose involvement in the incident was unclear. This man ultimately had nothing to do with the incident, which later turned out to have occurred on the street. Eventually, a witness came forward with more information about a possible perpetrator. This man was apprehended in the same street after he reported himself to the crime scene. He was immediately arrested and taken to the station for further investigation.
