The victim was cycling that evening around 11:15 PM on Bitterzoetpad in The Hague when he was approached by two individuals on a scooter. The individuals on the scooter immediately used violence and robbed the victim of his personal belongings. His phone and bicycle were taken.

The two individuals called in a larger group of about 12 people who almost immediately assaulted the victim by kicking and hitting him. At that moment, the victim was already on the ground. Eventually, the victim managed to flee and was able to alert the police along the way.
