The police received a report on Tuesday evening around 10:00 PM that a stabbing incident may have occurred at Burgemeestersrand. A vehicle may also have been involved.
Driving Under the Influence
Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle in question with a driver and two passengers. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence. She is a 44-year-old woman from Schiedam.
It is unclear whether a stabbing actually occurred. No injuries were found.
Insulting Officers
One of the passengers fled upon the arrival of the officers. He was found and arrested after a search in the area for public intoxication and for insulting the officers. He is a 27-year-old man from Rotterdam.
The other passenger had to take a seat in a police van during the handling of the incident to restore order. This person was not arrested.
