The victim got off the tram around 11:50 PM at the Kinkerstraat stop when he was insulted as a gay person. The victim asks why that is necessary, and before he knows it, he is attacked and assaulted by two men. The victim sustains injuries to his upper body and face. The two suspects flee in the direction of Postjesweg. The assault took place next to the tram, and the police hope to get in touch with anyone who saw or heard something. Unacceptable
Being assaulted, discriminated against, insulted, and threatened based on your origin, sexual orientation, faith, gender, or any other grounds is something that is unacceptable, intolerable, and not allowed in the Netherlands at any time.
