Investigation continues, information and images are welcome
Despite the two arrests, the investigation is not yet complete. The investigation team can still use your help. Also, if you have surveillance or dashcam footage from (the vicinity of) Heidelaan on May 6, we would like to hear from you.

The earlier investigation
After the discovery of the victim, the investigation focused on determining the cause of death. The investigation results quickly indicated that the lady had become a victim of a crime on the evening of May 6, after which the investigation focused on identifying those involved in her death.

A so-called Large Scale Investigation Team was formed that worked visibly and invisibly on the case. Among other things, extensive forensic investigations were conducted in the home, but last night the help of citizens was also requested through a witness investigation and the investigation program Opsporing Verzocht.

During the investigation, the team noticed that people from Ermelo, as well as people from other parts of the country, were deeply concerned about the victim and her relatives. People showed themselves more than willing to help and provide information to the investigation team, as evidenced by the nearly twenty tips received after the broadcast of Opsporing Verzocht.
