Officers from the Infrastructure Service of the National Expertise and Operations Unit observed around 5:00 PM a car with false license plates driving on Vogelwikkeveld in Woerden. Upon checking the vehicle, it was indeed found to have false license plates. In the car, another set of false license plates was found, as well as burglary tools and two bottles of GHB. This prompted a search of the drivers home.

In the home, the police found multiple knives, blunt weapons, and firearms. They discovered ecstasy pills and various other types of hard drugs. Additionally, there were heavy fireworks and materials to make explosives in the home. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) arrived on the scene to secure and assess various items. The items have been seized, and the home has been immediately closed by the municipality. The man has been detained for questioning, and the police are conducting further investigations.
