Suspect Arrested in Investigation into Seriously Injured Man from Hoorn

On Wednesday, April 16, a 24-year-old man was found seriously injured on the roof of a garage at the bottom of an apartment building on Osdorper Ban in Amsterdam. Today, Wednesday, May 21, a 23-year-old man from Hoorn has been arrested due to possible involvement in this incident. A Large-scale Investigation Team continues the investigation.
The man is suspected of unlawful deprivation of liberty resulting in serious injury and committing multiple burglaries. The suspect is in custody under restrictions. This means that the suspect can only contact his lawyer.
Multiple Searches
The police have also conducted multiple searches, including in a residence in Hoorn and in a residence in Westknollendam. During these searches, digital goods were seized for investigation.
