Ambulance
The two victims were transported to the hospital by ambulance. For a 74-year-old woman from Maastricht, help was no longer effective. She died in the hospital from her injuries. The injured victim is a 56-year-old man from Maastricht.
Witnesses sought
The Traffic Investigation Team (OTV) and FO Traffic are investigating the cause of the accident. The investigation team is looking for witnesses and also wants to receive (dashcam) footage of the accident and the moments leading up to it.
