The police are currently on site with various other emergency services, including the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Defense (EODD). Multiple homes are being evacuated for safety reasons.

This morning, police entered a residence at Nieuwlandhof in Amsterdam-Zuidoost as part of an ongoing investigation. Officers found a possible explosive in a basement storage unit.
