At around 8:05 PM, a customer approached the cash register of a hardware store on Groeneveldselaan in Veenendaal. Instead of paying, the man suddenly decided to grab money from the register. He then ran away, leaving the cashier shocked behind.
The police immediately started an investigation and focused on finding the man. Within two hours after the theft, the suspect was found and arrested. He is in custody.
