Based on intercepted and decrypted cryptocommunication, a criminal investigation into drug trafficking was initiated by the police and the Public Prosecution Service in 2024. The investigation identified the seven individuals involved. They are five men and two women from Eindhoven, aged between 24 and 57 years. The arrest team was deployed at various locations to apprehend a suspect. The arrests took place in the neighborhoods of Vaartbroek, Woensel, Hemelrijken, the Kruidenbuurt, and in the city center of Eindhoven. Searches are also being conducted at these locations. Among other things, data carriers, cash, and luxury goods have been seized.
