At around 5:30 PM, an emergency call was received about a threat involving a possible firearm at a residence in St. Willebrord. The suspect had already left in a car. The officers took this threat very seriously and went in search of him. On Rucphenseweg, they saw the car driving and signaled the driver to stop. The suspect was arrested according to the Approach Technique for Dangerous Suspects (BTGV), a method that allows the police to approach dangerous suspects safely, including under the threat of a firearm. Thus, the suspect was talked out of the car. In the car, the officers found a firearm. The weapon has been seized. The suspect is in custody for questioning.
