The police received a report yesterday morning around 11:00 AM of a collision between a delivery van and a scooter on the N280 in Weert. The rider of the scooter was transported to the hospital by trauma helicopter. Despite medical assistance, she passed away last night from her injuries.

Forensic Traffic Investigation is looking into the matter.
