The police immediately launched a large-scale investigation following the incident. Extensive forensic investigations were carried out, multiple witnesses were interviewed, and CCTV footage was secured for investigation.

Images of the suspect were also made public, leading to several very useful tips from the public that further aided the investigation. We greatly thank everyone for their thoughts and tips. All of this led us to the suspect of the stabbing incident. As the suspect is under full restrictions, no further information can be provided at this time.
