On that day, around 4:00 PM, multiple shooting incidents occurred on Loevesteinlaan. Three men died as a result. Following the incident, a criminal investigation was initiated.

Arrests
The team tracked down the three suspects of Swedish nationality. A 24-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested last night, June 25, 2025, in Sweden, and the third suspect (28) was arrested the same night in Germany.

The suspects are under restriction and may only contact a lawyer. It is still unknown when the suspects will be extradited to the Netherlands.
