On Monday, September 8, we began this surveillance due to a suspicious situation. This situation may be related to a shipment of intercepted cocaine in the port of Sheerness, United Kingdom, which was intended for the Netherlands. Last week, over 1000 kilos of cocaine were found here. This shipment has, of course, been seized and destroyed.

The investigation into this shipment of drugs and its origin is still ongoing. The increased surveillance will remain in place for at least the coming week, but will be extended if necessary.
