Shooting Incident Hofplein Rotterdam

On Saturday evening, April 19, around 7:45 PM, we received a report of a shooting incident at Hofplein in Rotterdam. A group of boys gets off a tram. They see another group standing and fire at least one shot. Whether anyone was injured is still under investigation. No one has (yet) reported to us.

Four minors arrested
Based on camera footage and descriptions, three suspects were arrested shortly after on Burgemeester Roosstraat.
A fourth suspect was arrested on Agniesestraat. Three of the suspects are from Rotterdam, one of them is from Gouda. They are all minors. The suspect who was arrested on Agniesestraat had injuries on his face. How he sustained these injuries is still unclear. The suspects are the boys from the tram. Whether more people are involved is still under investigation. The police do not rule out multiple arrests.
