At around 04:00 AM, the police received a report of a suspicious situation on Mozartlaan in Tilburg. On the way, the police were informed that the vehicle was driving away in the direction of Heikantlaan. Police officers saw the vehicle driving and signaled for it to stop. This signal was ignored, leading to a chase. The suspect committed wrong-way driving during the chase. The suspect also attempted to push a police car off the road. Due to this collision, the police car was damaged and is currently not operational.

After a short chase, the police managed to arrest the suspect on Vijverlaan. The 67-year-old man from Tilburg is in custody.
