Ten youths arrested
Ten youths from Rijnsburg were arrested for disturbing the public order. This includes eight minors and two 19-year-olds. Two of the arrested suspects also received fines because they could not identify themselves.
Violence against police officers (GTPA)
The police consider aggression and violence against their employees or other emergency workers unacceptable. Police officers have a responsible role in society and must be able to perform their duties without hindrance, with mutual respect. Aggression or violence, in any form, against employees is not tolerated. Police and justice apply the same approach here: reports are always recorded, perpetrators are prioritized by the Public Prosecution Service to be brought before the court, and a penalty three times as high is demanded against the perpetrators.
