During Sint-Maarten, several incidents occurred in which six minors reported the robbery of their candy. One victim was taken to the hospital for a check-up. The victims filed reports together with their parents. Victim support was also offered.
The police immediately started an investigation after the reports. They reviewed camera footage, spoke with witnesses, and sent out a Burgernet message. The following day and subsequent days, various neighborhood investigations were conducted. This resulted in the three arrests.
