At around 6:30 PM, a report was received of a stabbing incident at Riethoek in Veenendaal. Despite the efforts of emergency services, an adult man died from his injuries. The police are conducting further investigation into the motive behind the stabbing incident.
Arrests
Quickly, with the help of witnesses, a description of two suspects was created. In the night from Wednesday, June 4 to Thursday, June 5, officers were able to arrest the two suspects. A 35-year-old man without a fixed residence and a 26-year-old woman from Hilversum.
