At around 6:50 PM, the control room received a report of a serious accident at the Waterlinie in Weesp. Officers went to the scene and found multiple victims after a head-on collision between two vehicles. Four victims were transported to the hospital, including the 4-year-old boy from Amsterdam. Unfortunately, all medical assistance was to no avail for him. On May 20, 2025, he passed away due to his injuries.
