On Sunday, June 1, 2025, at around a quarter past two, a report was made of a loud bang or explosion at Bart van der Leckhof in Diemen. At the main entrance of the apartments, remnants of an explosive or fireworks were found. After the explosion, two suspects were seen. They likely fled towards Gerrit Rietveldsingel.
