The police started the investigation in October 2025 due to suspicions of drug manufacturing and trafficking in the Ermelo area. Two suspects emerged during this investigation.
On Tuesday, January 13, the police searched three homes at Kawoepersteeg in Ermelo, Windhalmstraat in Putten, and Spoorstraat in Goor.
Homes searched and vehicles seized
In Ermelo, the police found a cannabis plantation with 450 plants spread over two grow sites. In Putten, there was also a cannabis plantation with 156 plants. In Goor, equipment was found to set up a cannabis plantation.
Additionally, two cars and a motorcycle were seized for further investigation.
