On Monday evening, September 22, around 9:00 PM, the victim meets at Zeevaarthof to sell his phone. When a dispute arises during payment, the buyer brings in another man. This man turns out to have a firearm. The victim is forced to hand over his phone, after which the two suspects flee.
Emergency services arrive on the scene and begin searching for the suspects. Later that evening, they are arrested by the arrest team in a residence at Zeevaarthof. The suspects are a 35-year-old man from Amsterdam and a 29-year-old man without a fixed residence. Both are in custody.
