In total, more than 100,000 euros worth of luxury goods were purchased in Amsterdam, Zaandam, and Antwerp using money from the hospice. This happened in early June of this year.
Attention in Place of Crime
The case has received extensive attention in the investigation program Place of Crime. In it, images of the suspects were shown. As a result, two men were already recognized and arrested on September 22. They were also men from Zaandam, aged 23 and 24. Later, it turned out that there was a third suspect, whose images were also shown in the program. This man has now also been arrested.
The police thank viewers of Place of Crime for their input and are continuing their investigation.
