Investigation led to the suspect, a 16-year-old boy from Eemnes. The suspect was arrested on Tuesday, November 25, outside the act. After questioning, he was released with a summons on the order of the Public Prosecutor and is awaiting trial in court.
The break-in occurred on May 3 around 2:30 AM. The window of the premises was smashed with a sledgehammer, and in addition to the thefts, various damages were caused inside the store. The boy is suspected of stealing 45 branded sunglasses worth 6,000 euros and causing damage to and inside the store.
