It was around 6:00 PM when multiple reports came in of an accident involving two cars. After the cars collided, the car with the 18-year-old man ended up in the water, from which he could escape. The car with the woman crashed into a tree. The 33-year-old woman from Rotterdam was rescued from her car by emergency services and was immediately resuscitated. Shortly afterwards, she was transferred in critical condition to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The 18-year-old man from Rotterdam was arrested in the hospital after a check-up. He is suspected of causing a fatal accident.
