The reason for the chase was the ignoring of a stop sign. After a short chase at high speeds in the vicinity of Kempweg, the suspects vehicle collided with another vehicle. Three people were in that vehicle. They were injured and are being medically examined by ambulance personnel.

The police are conducting an investigation at the scene. Footage has been captured by the police helicopter. A team from the Forensic Traffic Investigation is also conducting an investigation at the scene.
