On Monday, June 9, security at the Van der Valk Hotel in Schiedam reported a concern. They had initiated an investigation into a room due to irregularities. This led to the suspicion that there was possession and/or trafficking of narcotics.

When the officers arrived at the hotel, they found narcotics in the room. These were seized by the police. On Thursday, June 12, we arrested a 22-year-old suspect from Utrecht. The investigation continues unabated.
