Suspicious Situation in Supermarket Parking Lot
The police officers were on their way around 5:00 PM when they noticed a suspicious situation in the supermarket parking lot. Two men appeared to be transferring goods from one car to another. The officers found this suspicious and suspected a possible drug deal. They then decided to stop the two men.
Possible Drug Trade
While searching both vehicles, the police found suspected hard drugs in one of the cars and a jerrycan with possible chemical substances. In the other car, a sum of cash was found. The men were arrested. One is a 63-year-old man from Huizen and the other is a 19-year-old man from Culemborg. The home of the suspect from Huizen was subsequently searched. Here, the police found goods that could be used for the production and trade of drugs. All goods have been seized. The police are conducting further investigations into the case.
