In an episode of the investigative program Bureau Brabant, footage of four suspects was shown on May 19, 2025, where their faces were clearly visible. After the broadcast, the young suspects reported one by one to the police. They include an 18-year-old boy from Vijlen, a 20-year-old man from Almere, and two boys from Rotterdam aged 15 and 16.

Two home invasions
The first home invasion took place on January 25, 2025, at Jan Darkennisstraat. Two individuals entered the apartment under threat of a knife after a 15-year-old boy unsuspectingly opened the door. The suspects violently searched the apartment but left without any loot. The boy was left behind in mortal fear.

More than a week later, on February 3, 2025, two individuals rang the doorbell again at the same apartment. This time they were in possession of a firearm, or an object resembling one. Fortunately, it only remained at ringing the bell; shortly thereafter, the suspects left the apartment building again.

The suspects are in custody, and the police are investigating the case.
