On the night of Sunday, May 25 to Monday, May 26, three robbers broke into the home of an elderly couple in Wamel. They ransacked the entire house and left with some jewelry. They left the couple unharmed but extremely shaken.

The police have launched an investigation and can use the publics help. They are still looking for two witnesses who were in the area at the time of the invasion. To ensure that as many people as possible watch the broadcast, an SMS was sent to everyone who was in Wamel on the day of the invasion. The lead investigator: “We hope as many people as possible will watch and think along with us. We hope the two witnesses will come forward as a result of the broadcast and that we will get more information about the robbers.”
