On June 6, 2025, around 04:00 AM, the first incident occurred at Gaandeweg. After the explosion, a person dressed in dark clothing was seen fleeing on a scooter.
At around 04:25 AM, another incident occurred, this time at Bijlmerplein. An explosion caused a front door to be destroyed.
Twenty minutes later, at 04:45 AM, an arson took place at Alfred Doblinstraat. The front door was set on fire using a flammable liquid.
A possible connection between these incidents is part of the investigation.

Two Explosions and an Arson within Three Quarters of an Hour

In a short time, three incidents occurred in Amsterdam-Zuidoost. The detectives are investigating a possible connection between these cases and are looking for witnesses who can provide more information about two explosions and an arson that took place on the night of Thursday, June 5 to Friday, June 6, 2025, at Gaandeweg, Bijlmerplein, and Alfred Doblinstraat. In all cases, there is damage, but fortunately, no one is injured.
