At around 8:00 PM, the police received reports of a fight at the Grote Markt in Groningen. It involved a fight between two groups of ten to twenty people. There were threats made with a firearm. When officers arrived on the scene, the groups dispersed. It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the fight.
Multiple police units searched the area for the suspect, presumably a man, who threatened with a firearm. This person has not been found. The police are looking for the suspect.
